OAO Kovdorsky GOK has been one of the most stable enterprises in the Murmansk region and the Russian metallurgical industry during the last decade. The strategic goals of the enterprise are the further development of the production process, modernisation of facilities and technology, the growth of production volume. OAO Kovdor is carrying out open pit explosions on the deposit Kovdorskoe. A stock potential of this deposit is estimated being enough for the next 16-25 years.
